Undisputed" is a 2002 American sports drama film directed by Walter Hill and starring Wesley Snipes, Ving Rhames, Peter Falk, and Michael Rooker. The film follows Monroe Hutchens (Wesley Snipes), the heavyweight boxing champion of Sweetwater prison, who gets a chance to fight against Iceman Chambers (Ving Rhames), the heavyweight boxing champion of the world, in a match set up by a prison warden and a promoter.

The film opens with Monroe Hutchens, a former heavyweight boxing champion, serving a life sentence in Sweetwater prison. He has been undefeated in the prison's underground boxing matches. Meanwhile, George "Iceman" Chambers, the current heavyweight champion of the world, is convicted of rape and sent to Sweetwater. The prison warden and a promoter arrange a match between Monroe and Iceman to make money. Monroe is reluctant at first but agrees after the warden threatens to transfer him to a worse prison.

The two boxers begin training for the match, with Monroe training with a former boxer named Mingo and Iceman training with his longtime trainer. The climactic boxing match between Monroe and Iceman takes place in the prison gym, with the warden and promoter watching. It is a brutal, hard-fought battle with both men giving their all. In the end, Monroe emerges victorious by knockout in the 12th round. However, the match is marred by the warden's interference, as he has the prison guards attack Iceman after the fight. Monroe steps in to protect Iceman.

In the aftermath, Monroe is transferred to a worse prison as punishment for winning the fight. Iceman is released from prison and returns to his boxing career. The film ends with Iceman visiting Monroe in his new prison and telling him that he will arrange for a rematch between them in a real boxing match once Monroe is released.
